Chemical Properties
light brown to yellow brown flaky solid. soluble in benzene, gasoline, vinyl chloride and acetone, insoluble in water. Non-toxic.
Uses

As anti-ager of natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber and nitrile butadiene rubber. Protective to hot oxygen flexing and fissuration. Also as antiager of polyolefin and lubricating oil.  It can offer good heat resistance to neoprene, or get beet effect if it works with TPPD. It also can lower the plasticizing capacity of uncured neoprene and lower the shrinkage during  the period of rolling, to adjust the size of semi-product and improve stability of neoprene,.  It is mainly used in the manufacture of tyre, tube tyre, cables, rubber shoes, rubber floor, gasket, thermal aureole and sponge products.

Dosage is 0.5 to 2 portions, no crocking in 2 portions. It can work with antioxidant H, antioxidant BLE and antioxidant TPPD to improve resistance to flex crack. Compared with other antioxidants, it offers less pollution, and migration, so it is good for light and bright color products.

Cautions: it isn't recommended as main antioxidant in top-grade products such as tyres.
